Free Registration

Non-Government Scheme Fees
Per Hour-
Families who are not enrolled in the Government Free Childcare Scheme are charged according to the centre’s hourly rate.

Free Childcare Scheme (Malta)
Stepping Stones participates in the Maltese Government Free Childcare Scheme, which provides free childcare hours for eligible families where parents are working or studying.
The number of free hours provided is based on the parent or guardian’s employment or study commitments. Our team will gladly guide families through the process of applying for the scheme.
Additional Charges
Certain services may incur additional charges that are not covered by the Government scheme.
These may include:
- Additional hours beyond the booked childcare package
- Extra activities and special events throughout the year
- Replacement uniforms or additional items
Parents will always be informed of any applicable charges in advance.
Non-Government Scheme Fees
Families who are not enrolled in the Government Free Childcare Scheme are charged according to the centre’s hourly rate.
Current hourly rates:
0 – 12 months: €5.00 per hour
13 – 36 months: €5.00 per hour
Monthly fees are calculated based on the number of hours booked for the month.
All fees must be paid one month in advance to secure your child’s place at the centre.
Please note:
Booked hours must be paid even if a child is absent due to illness or vacation.
This ensures your child’s place remains reserved.
Payment Terms
- Monthly childcare fees must be paid one month in advance for non-government scheme users.
- Fees remain payable during vacation or sick leave to retain the child’s place at the centre.
- Fees are non-refundable once paid.
- Four weeks’ notice is required for termination of attendance.
