Do Stepping Stones centres have outdoor play areas?
Yes. Our centres provide safe and stimulating spaces where children can explore, play, and develop their physical skills. Outdoor play is an important part of early childhood development, and children are regularly given opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities in environments designed specifically for their age group.
Are Stepping Stones centres open all year?
Yes. Our centres operate throughout the year to support working families. We follow structured daily routines while also organising special activities, events, and seasonal experiences throughout the year to keep children engaged and excited about learning.
What age groups do you care for?
Stepping Stones provides care for children from 2 months up to 3 years of age. Children are grouped according to their age and developmental stage, allowing our educators to provide appropriate activities, routines, and support for each stage of development.
How are your educators selected and trained?
All educators at Stepping Stones are carefully selected and must hold recognised childcare qualifications. Staff are required to have a clean police conduct, paediatric first aid certification, and relevant childcare training. We also conduct reference checks and provide ongoing professional development to ensure our educators maintain the highest standards of care.
How do you share updates about my child’s day?
Parents receive regular updates through the Procare application, where educators share observations, photos, and information about their child’s daily activities, meals, rest times, and development. This helps families stay closely connected to their child’s experiences at the centre.
