Proven Approach to Education
Free Childcare Scheme
At Stepping Stones, we are proud to participate in the Maltese Government’s Free Childcare Scheme, which supports families by providing access to quality early childhood education while parents work or continue their studies. Through this initiative, eligible families can benefit from free childcare hours based on their employment or education commitments. Our team is always happy to guide parents through the process and help them understand how the scheme works, making it easier for families to access the care and learning environment their children deserve.
Health and Safety
At Stepping Stones, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. Our centres are carefully designed to provide a secure, clean, and well-supervised environment where children can explore and learn with confidence. From our daily hygiene routines to our trained educators and safety procedures, every aspect of our centre is structured to protect and support the children in our care.
We follow strict health and safety practices while also creating a calm and nurturing environment where children feel secure and families feel reassured. Our team works closely with parents to maintain the highest standards of care and wellbeing throughout each child’s day.
- Qualified and Trained Educators All educators are trained in paediatric first aid and follow strict supervision guidelines to ensure children are always safe and supported.
- Secure Centres and Controlled Access Our centres use controlled entry systems and authorised collection procedures to ensure that only approved individuals can access the premises or collect children.
- Strict Hygiene and Cleaning Protocols Daily cleaning routines, handwashing practices, and sanitation procedures help maintain a healthy environment for children and staff.
- Emergency Preparedness Our centres are equipped with fire safety equipment and emergency evacuation procedures that are regularly practiced by staff.
- Careful Monitoring of Health and Wellbeing We work closely with families regarding allergies, medical needs, and children’s wellbeing, ensuring appropriate care and communication at all times.
