Our history
Stepping Stones Childcare Centre was established in 2006 with a simple heart — to support families as they balance work and home life. Understanding the challenges parents face, our desire has always been to create a place where children are cared for with love, patience, and genuine attention.
We are committed to continually learning and growing as a team so we can provide the best possible environment for your children. By staying informed and developing our skills, we aim to create a safe, enriching space where children feel comfortable, valued, and free to explore.
Our preschool is blessed with a caring and dedicated team of educators who bring knowledge, experience, and a true passion for working with children. Above all, they bring kindness, warmth, and a deep sense of responsibility for the little ones entrusted to us.

Our Centres
At Stepping Stones, children leave our centres confident, curious, and socially secure — having developed the strong foundations they need for the next stage of their journey. Our environments nurture independence, communication skills, and a genuine love for learning through meaningful, play-based experiences.
As a Maltese childcare provider, we honour both of Malta’s official languages, English and Maltese, weaving them naturally into daily interactions and activities. Through conversation, storytelling, songs, and collaborative projects, children are supported in developing strong language skills within a warm, inclusive community that celebrates cultural identity and belonging.
Above all, our centres are places where children feel seen, valued, and truly at home. We believe that when children feel secure and supported in their God given identity , they naturally grow in confidence, character, and joy. Health & Safety
At Stepping Stones, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We maintain secure, carefully monitored environments and follow strict health and safety procedures in line with national standards. From daily supervision and hygiene routines to emergency preparedness planning, we are committed to creating a safe space where children can explore and grow with confidence.
Our educators are trained to recognise individual developmental needs and ensure that supervision, materials, and activities are always age-appropriate. We work proactively with families to maintain high standards of care, health, and protection across all our centres.
