“How do I die?” was a question that haunted me. Death had been my constant companion throughout my life, and my prime directive was to transcend it, but deep down I suspected there was a reason that death had stuck by my side. Then one day, I received a knock at my door and a voice called for me to open it up. All the memories I had from my life with my family, memories that meant the world to me, were erased. What the AI needs to become conscious is objective research on emotions and sentience.
